The Touch of Hope Foundation collaborated with the New Delhi United Football Club and established Football4Hope, which is a unique association to use the ever-increasing interest in the game of football nationally and internationally to generate health and HIV awareness in the community.

The Touch of Hope Foundation and New Delhi United Football Club established Football4Hope Initiative to promote the game and raise social consciousness towards the sport, public health and community development. The initiative aims to build strong friendship, enhance enthusiasm, motivation, professionalism. The Football4Hope is committed to raise and spread public health and conduct HIVAIDS awareness, support comprehensive compassionate care services for people living with HIV.

The Football4Hope initiative organized Cup of Hope in March 2012. The event complement and support the humanitarian works of the Touch of Hope Foundation. The Football4Hope initiative envisioned to strive without ceasing to rejuvenate the understanding that hope is alive; demonstrate that sports and community services does make a positive difference, restore dignity and enhance quality of life, help secure a healthier and sustainable future for those in most need in the society. The proceeds from the event will be use to establish ‘Center of Hope’ in New Delhi. The Center will deliver high quality compassionate care services through dedicated professionals to bring healing and hope. The Football4Hope AIDS project is to provide value added services, campaigns and other creative and innovative strategies to address the issue of HIVAIDS and works in tandem with HIVAIDS programs implemented by AIDS organizations and help enhance government efforts to provide care and support to people living with HIVAIDS, to help STOP and reverse the epidemic. There is need for greater involvement and increase effort across the spectrum of all walks of society.  The fight must go on. HIV is still an emergency, which needed constant, sustained, persistent campaign to reduce and reverse the epidemic. 

The Football4Hope ‘CUP OF HOPE 2012’ was successfully held at Thyagaraj Stadium, Sports Complex, I.N.A Colony, New Delhi on 30, 31 March 2012 and 1st April 2012. Embassies of 12 Countries, Team Eurasia and Touch of HOPE Team participated at the tournament. The final was played between Botswana and Tanzania. Tanzania won the final match scoring 2 -1 to be the Champions for the year 2012.
